I have always loved dragons. They are powerful, protective, and in all of my favorite stories as a wee one, they were the heroes or at least the hero's buddy. As I got older, I began to question where the dragons went. After many adults gave me the same answer, I was heartbroken. How could dragons not be real? I planned to grow up and have a pet dragon, after all.
Fast forward to my discovery of all things shifter. Shifters are people who, depending on the lore, became animals part of the time. There is something about them that calls to me. I would guestimate that 75% of my kindle is shifter related. So now I no longer want a dragon as a pet. I want a shifter dragon as a friend. Seriously, how cool would that be?
