Rose moaned as she tried to get up, pain lancing through her body as she forced her eyes open. 

“Fuck, fuck, fuck.” She cursed as even the smallest movement caused agony so great that she saw black spots before her eyes. “Breathe,” she commanded, as a groan escaped her lips in retaliation at the movement of her broken ribs.
She stifled the moans that were rumbling up her throat, silence and stealth were her friends now. She wasn’t stupid enough to think that fucker Razor hadn’t instructed the guards to alert him when she woke. “You need to focus, heal yourself, and then get the hell out of here,” She told herself firmly.

Rose lay back onto the soft bed, murmuring quietly a simple healing spell, and grinding her teeth when it went to work. The soft sounds of her bones knitting back together were all she heard, apart from the blood pumping so fast through her system it was echoing in her ears. Bones, bumps, bruises and split skin, were soon almost healed, gingerly rising to go to the bathroom. That’d be far too easy for Razor or his Demon guards to track, and she was definitely not going to make it easy for them to find her.

Hi! I'm an author from the Midwestern United States. I'm an avid reader of anything romance! I've worked as a travel agent, nursing assistant, and a paralegal before chasing my dream of full-time writing. I love to travel, swim, cook, and I'm more than a little addicted to a certain social media website...

Currently, I write paranormal and science-fiction romance. My plan is to branch out in several romance sub-genres, but my books will always end in the infamous Happily Ever After.

4. I missed a college 4.0 GPA in the very last semester when one professor gave me a B (still upset about that!)!
5. I am very OCD about certain things (see #6).
6. I have an extensive DVD/BluRay collection and it has to be kept in alphabetical order!
7. My favorite vacations involve a cruise. I've been on 15 so far!
8. I'm quiet and sort of shy until I get to know a person.
9. I'm quick witted and believe sarcasm is my best friend.

Silence Among Stars picks up a few weeks after Echo Among Stars ends, when I started reading I really had to set my Kindle down and stare off into space while I considered the implications of what I just read. When a book starts off with a wickedly brilliant turn of events it’s impossible for me to stop reading! I read it straight through and cursed (silently in my head) that I had to set it down to make dinner.  There were at least three places I set the book down due to emotional needs. I had to send up prayers things would go the way I had hoped or just to process what the discoveries that were revealed.  The way this book is written; great dialogue, complex characters, and such an in depth story line that I would beg and plead to have a movie made out of this series.  While many books have given me all the feels and great enjoyment, this book captured me so fully I am completely invested in the characters as if they truly were my real friends.  I can’t recommend this enough to those who love a great story with more than just a strong main character but an entire supporting cast that anchors you to their world.
